Bottle 33 cl. Pours an opaque black with a tiny, rough, beige head. Faint, sweet roastiness in the nose. Rich, sweet, roasty body with some dried dark fruits and licorice. Carbonation to the low side. But a straight and pleasant easygoing strong Stout. 151123

Sample (thanks omhper!). Pitch black colour with no head. Aroma is liquorice, some mild spiciness, plum, mild figs and some ripe fruity and berryish tones. Flavour is alcohol sweetness, raspberries, plum, figs, mild liquorice as well as some very faint star anise (in a nice dose!). A bit tobaccoish tones too when it's been in the glass for a while.

Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, roasted - dark malt, chocolate, coffee - chocolatesoft licorice, dark malt, sweet malt, smoke notes, malt bitter.
