500ml bottle bought at Gulating Ølutsalg in Tromsdalen. Durable, bubbly pearl white head over a clear, light amber body, clingy lacing. Moderate smell of cereal malts and dusty hops. Blended taste profile of ripe citrus, some dried fruits, and bread-like malts. Mid-dry, mild bitter finish. Medium bodied. Repeatable. (Tromsø 25.08.2021).

[50cl bottle from Morrisons, Bracknell] A golden amber pour with a tight off-white head; malty aroma; malty taste with some caramel and also somewhat over boiled; then a solid hit of herbal hops before a malty finish. Nicely balanced, but over pasteurised.

Cask at Southwark Tavern, Borough. Weak and watery Pale Ale. The sort of stuff that would keep a pale lager drinker reasonably happy.

500 ml bottle, as My Generation Session Pale Ale, brewed by Black Sheep. ABV is 4.7%. Bought at Gulating Ølutsalg, Stavanger. Hops are Galena, Polaris, Magnum and Cascade. Pale golden colour, only slightly hazy, moderate white head. Aroma of citric hops. Citric mouthfeel. The flavour has also notes of citrus / grapefruit, with an earthy and quite sharp bitterness in the finish. The malt body is not impressive.

Bottle shared with JMD on board Fridtjofen during corona lockdown 06.04.20. Clear dark golden. Fairly dense and persistent off-white head and lacing. Fine aroma and taste of succade, citrus peel, meadows and pale ale. Very refreshing and drinkable. Some bitterness is lingering on.

18/5/2019. Bottle from Tesco Martlesham Heath, shared at the Warsaw GP beer share. Pours clear dark gold with an average sized off-white head. Aroma of malt, citrus, fruit, vanilla and plastic. Medium plus sweetness, moderate and slightly unpleasant bitterness. Moderate body, oily texture, average to soft carbonation. More plastic, along with some biscuit and veg to finish. Not great.

Bottle from Asda. Golden in colour, with a frothy, white, head and slight carbonation. Light minerals and leafy hops, with some caramel in the flavour before a lingering, bitter, finish. Ok.
