330ml bottle. Hazy, pale yellow-ish, bright golden colour with small to average, frothy, collapsing, white head. Slightly artificial and sugary lemonade aroma, grainy, malty background. Taste is mildly bitter hoppy and slightly grainy, pale malty as well as citrusy fruity, notes of lemon juice, minimally sugary and artificial hints of lemonade.
Watery texture, minimally dry palate, medium, mildly prickly carbonation.
Very refreshing, some grainy "beer" flavours shine through - not bad.

If you enjoy looking at very large medieval bells, and are fit enough to climb many stairs I can recommend climbing one of the spires in Cologne Cathedral. If you don't just enjoy a Kölsch in one of the many bars in one of the city's squares. I associate Früh with Kölsch and they should probably stick to that as this radler is pretty average. Lemon heavy in both aroma and taste, light citric bitterness, artificial to an extent, some dough in aftertaste.

500ml can. Hazy pale yellow colour, white foam head and aroma of lemon, zesty, malt hint. Taste is sweet, lemony, some sherbet notes, hints of pale malt & grain, and citric acidity. Medium bodied, foamy carbonation, drying & sourish sweet lemony finish. OK

0.33 l bottle from 'Trinkgut Knödgen', best before August 2024. Hazy, pale golden yellow with a thin, frothy, quickly collapsing, white head. Sweetish, slightly sourish, rather fruity, minimally artificial aroma of lemonade, some lemon juice and a touch of grains. Quite sweet, a little sourish, fairly fruity and hardly artificial taste of lemonade, some lemon juice and traces in grains, followed by a short, slightly bitter, a bit tart finish. Thin to medium body, minimally astringent and gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Decent Radler.

500ml can from HoTM. It pours cloudy lemonade yellow with a quickly dissipating big fizzy white head. The aroma is sweet, juicy, tangy, freshly squeezed lemon, lemonade, fizzy sherbet, touch of bread and grass. The taste is crispy, dry, snappy, fresh and zingy, lashings of cloudy lemonade, lemony tang, mellow sourness which works well, underneath it all there is some beery aspects, bready malt, grain and grass with a tangy sweet - sour lemony finish. Average body and moderate carbonation. Really nice example of the style. Quenching.
