Barleywine aged in a combination of whiskey (bourbon, wheat and rye) and red wine barrels, this oak forward leader crescendos from first sip to last. Toffee, Vanilla and spice aromas lead the band and a balanced sweet, caramel-like malt flavor rounds out this full-bodied ale.

500 ml foiled and capped. Aroma has notes of toffee, wood, raisin, sherry, apple, bourbon. Pours a murky caramel-colored hue with a small bone white head that falls into a ring quickly. Taste is highly sweet with barrel aged barleywine flavors. Softly carbonated. Absolutely delicious top of the line BW.

Salesforce tasting, bottle; 14.9% ABV
Amber colour, slight haze. Spirit in the nose. Nice caramel flavour, moderately sweet, not as rich as a classic Barley Wine, and with quite a strong booze kick. Touch of vanilla, bourbon.
Very good.

Light brown, no head. Rich bourbon on the nose, lots of wood, some vanilla, some nice toffee elements as well. Big and boozy, lots of bitterness, those nice toffeeish notes roll over the tongue, and a hit of vanilla in there as well.

500mL bottle, pours a fairly clear dark copper, very small beige head. Nose is full of toffee and vanilla upfront, followed by bourbon barrels, caramel, and more toffee. Flavour is intense, with lots of toffee, deep bourbon barrels, vanilla, and sweet caramel. Quite a lot of booze, but it's integrated well. As it warms, the bourbon really warms the cockles -- lovely caramel and toffee finish. Excellent.

Waxed bottle shared by Marcus. Pours dark copper with a slight tan head. Aroma of toffee/light treacle/brown sugar. Full bodied. Flavor is brown sugar with some red berry hints; a little or maybe more than that oak astringency. Rye whiskey. There’s a spiciness which I put down to the rye.

50cl bottle courtesy of riversideAK, pours with a clear deep copper body that supports a thin light tan head of foam. The aroma offers up malts, booze, raisins thin brown sugar, bourbon and booze. The taste delivers smooth malts growing into booze, molasses raisins and prunes. To midway a decent level of booze bubbles to the surface and takes over the experience. Pretty nice sipper.

500 mL bottle poured. Much thanks to Douglas for the bottle! Cheers. Mostly clean copper brown pour with a thin ring head. Huge beer here. Sweet, vanilla, bready malt, caramel, raisin aroma. Flavor is dusty malt, raisin, grape, and a bit nutty. Intense, heavy, but reasonable, all things considered. Huge flavor. Very nice barley wine.

500 ml bottle. Pours a clear reddish color with a small white head. A big sweet bourbon fruity nose. The flavor is big berry, whiskey, vanilla, prunes, soft sugary toffee. Very complex. Smooth.
