Creamy white head on a reddish brown body. Wheat, yeast g stewed fruit aroma. Full bodied, smooth, oily, greasy & clean. Over stewed fruit, jam, syrup & grain tastes with an extremely bitter finish. Not had a Barley Wine for ages & now I know why.

Can from the Low Cost Beer online shop. Pours clear amber with a thin off-white head. Aromas of strong cereal grains, caramel. Taste is sweet grains, cereal. Faint balancing herbal hop. Quite boozy.

Appearance: Amber/brown colour with an off-white head.
Aroma: Malt, dried fruit, raisin, caramel, hops.
Body: Medium body, low to medium carbonation.
Flavour: Malt, dried fruit, raisin, caramel, hops.
