Canned at SBWF. Clear deep golden, coarse head. Rich passion fruit aroma. Mid sweet with medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Lots of passion fruit, elderflowers and grapefruit. Zesty and hoppy with mid bitter finish. Quite nice hop profile, neutral malt base.

Sample at SBWF 2016. A bit hazy golden with a white head. Hoppy with citrus, light pineapple and some hay. The body was medium as was the bitterness. A decent one.

Hazy gold beer, tidy white head. Palate is light and dry. Reasonable fine carbonation. Mildly sweet pale malts. Floral bitter hop dominates, a modicum of orangey citrus. Trace of lemon before a light dry bitterish finish. In some ways quite English. Standard stuff.

Draught at Lord Hobo on 3/22/16 and at Castle and Elephant again on 3/24/16.
Besides the fact that you should never go to Elephant and Castle, being a horrible, horrible bar, this pours a gently hazy, lime-tinted gold, with a medium-sized white head showing moderate retention.
The nose is quite lovely, actually, being very reserved and lightly fruity. Citrus zest, light pineapple and some floral characteristics are intertwined by biscuity/crackery malts with fresh yeast and light minerality.
In the flavor, it’s very juicy, with lots of white grapefruit, meyer lemon and soft floral notes. Good attenuation and ample carbonation which is mostly engaging. Great stuff. Dry, very juicy yet still seems light and elegant for an IPA. No heavy bitterness (quite low overall). Very solid offering which put them on the map for good reason.
