Bottle picked up from Bierkiste München, and consumed at home Thursday 1st June 2023, another day of wonderful weather, cooking a Thai Curry and listening to Huw Stephens sitting in for Steve Lamaq on 6Music. The first thing that I noticed was just how quickly the head disappeared. It pours a hazy mid amber. Sweet and with a warmth to it, tastes somewhere between a Tripel and a Barley Wine. The citrus is struggling to make much of an impact, sweetness winning over with light syrup or honey. It's fine but compared to a classic Belgian Tripel it would be found wanting somewhat.

Cloudy amber color and a small white head. Some floating yeast. Nose is yeasty, caranell, herbal-spicy. I ntense mouthfeeling, caramel-yeasty with a citric touch. A little boozy.

0.33 l bottle at Ambasada. Zagreb, shared with Pliš and Krteček. Clear dark golden, oily, off-white head. Lemony aroma, green tea, perfumy, peach and alcohol. Tart, malty flavour, candy, spice, phenols. Medium body, soft to moderate carbonation. The fruit addition is slightly perfumy or candy-like. The base style is nicely done.

Hazy golden. Aroma is citrus mandarin cookie dough some clove and other christmas spices. Taste is intense bittersweet yeasty spices with sour citric fruits. Quite intense and long finish. A little too bitter and harsh for my taste but not bad.
