On draft, clear yellow gold, thin rocky white head that dissipates quickly. Nose is biscuits, grass, some lemon. Taste is nice and sweet biscuits, a bit of herbal hops, slight bit of bitterness on the tongue. Refreshing beer.

Very hazy golden coloured body with a nice, slightly soapy white head on top. Aroma of grass and very mild hay and subdued herbal elements with a light dose of the yeast and some more mellow scents. Light-bodied; Very soft and structured malts with some biscuits, a dose of yeast and grain with a touch of grasses and hay with a light sweetness and fresh apple and pear flavour towards the end. Aftertaste shows some grasses with hay, light coriander seed freshness and ending with a good biscuity and fresh canned corn flavour with some sweetness and a robust fresh, clean bite at the very end. Overall, a nice and soft beer with a great biscuity and malty bite with some yeast, dry flavours and complex malt notes showing through on top of some light sweetness and structured very mellow fruit flavours without much hops at all. Nice to sample and very mild throughout, quite easy-to-drink during the summertime especially! I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from GlenRo Spirit Shoppe in Monroe, Connecticut on 10-March-2018 for US$1,00 sampled in my hotel room in Orlando, Florida on 06-May-2018.

16 oz can. Cloudy light gold color with a white head and good retention. Spotty lacing. Light body and light mouthfeel. No bitterness. Tastes like a light Helles. Clean and refreshing.

Pours rather clear blonde. Small white head. Smell is fresh, crispy malts, with a grassy, fresh hopyness. Taste is full, malty, mild crisp, mildly sweet by the malts. Very bready. Nice. Perhaps I prefer a bit more crispy and refreshing myself, but than again, thats more of a chzech style and thus irrelevant. Nice one.

16 ounce can. Small creamy white head. Nice lacing. Tart lemony malt aroma hints at fresh baked scones. Sweet biscuit malt flavor is smooth and silky. More subtle lemony notes. Hints of vanilla and grain in finish. Quite tasty and eminently drinkable.

Pounder can as pictured. Typical fresh beery smell. Pretty strong initial flavors, but not as bad as many cheap pale lagers. Yes, has the effects of a cheap pale lager but not sure how this gets to be a zikle! Good overall civility and com[parable to many well brewed pale lagers. Funny name considering it doesn’t want to be known as a pale lager, heheh. I think I’ve had other ziks that are much more enjoyable; siggy saggy siggy saggy yoi yoi yoi! For example Leikeim Kellerbier & Kulmbacher Mönchshof Kellerbier are much more enjoyable than thus!
