Bottle picked up from Sulzberger Bierhaus Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm and consumed at home Thursday 18th August 2022 sat outside about to heat up homemade Cannelloni. Pours reddy brown with a large cappuccino coloured head. The nose gives off some malt but also a little bit of fresh pondweed, an aroma that I pick up from time to time but don't know exactly what it is. A little caramel, light bitterness, fruity, it's fine.

330ml bottle. Cloudy, russet colour with average, firm, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, off-white to sulphureous head. Sweet.ish, fruity hoppy and minimally toasty, bready malty aroma, notes of red berries, strawberry, frozen strawberry, whiffs of pumpernickel. Taste is slightly bitter and fruity, minimally leafy hoppy, slightly bready malty, diluted hints of red berries; bitter and leafy finish. Watery texture, dry palate, medium to coarse, prickly carbonation. Nice fruity nose, quite watery, almost a bit anaemic - OK.

330 ml bottle. Pours cloudy amber with a big fluffy head. Caramel, unripe banana, estery notes, some nuts, roasty aromas, yeast. Yeasty malty sweetness, slightly dry. Medium bodied, oily texture, lively fizzy carbonated, dry sweet finish. Not sure about this one, feels more like an Urweiße/Weißbier, not an Irish Red Ale. Also not my cup of tea either.
