Pours a clear golden colour, topped with ok white frothy head. Typical mild malty aroma with grainy notes. Taste follows the nose. Slight sweetness initially, followed by moderate bitterness in the finish. Nothing special, still decent.

Bottle 0,5l. Pleasant czech hop and sweet malt aroma. Flavor is smooth, well balanced, malty sweet, moderate bitter. Much better than Starobrno tradiční.

4. Oct. 2013. At Mali Flek pub Split, now already closed. It poured golden body with medium sized head. Weak herbal hop and honey malt aroma. Flavor had a bit more joy in it, but was also simple, lightly herbal and cardboardy bitter over dominating sweetish malt. Thinner in body with quite short unimpressive finish, where bitterness is felt more than in flavor itself. Decent, although seems way too light and thin for 4,7% ABV.

Bottled (backlog, thanks Kim N!). Yellowish golden colour, small white head. Aroma is grass, some floral notes, mild herbs as well as some mild metallic notes as it warms up a bit. Flavour is grass, bready malts, some herbs as well as mild toffeeish notes to it.

(tap 0,5l @ Legenda (Brno)) Sweet malty, weak aroma. Clear golden color. Huge white head. Medium sweet, light grainy, light bitter. Medium body. Light fizzy. Long unpleasant bitter finish. Not so bad.

Non-pasteurized, 4.7%. Mali Flek. Golden colour, medium sized white head. Simple herbal hop in the aroma, slightly tangy. Simple sweetish herbal hoppy taste. Simple but quite ok for what it is.

50 cl glass on tap at Brno, as Starobrno 11° Nepasterizostované (unpasteurized), 4.7%. Gold color, thick white head. Aroma is mostly malty with a Marzen attitude, maybe a touch of honey. Taste has an intense bitterness. Crude feel, thick body, oily texture, pretty heavy i founf this difficult to push down. Comparable with Austrian "gold" ones, such as Hirter or German Herrnbrau Festbier which usually goes upt to 5.2%, which i’m not a great fan of.

Canned, 0.50l. Clear golden color with small frothy white head and soft carbonation. Aroma of malt, herbal hops and slight notes of yeast and citrus. Taste starts sweet malty, then followed with fresh sourness. Mouthfeel is crisp and dry, while finish is long and hoppy. Medium body, slick texture and average carbonation in palate. Very tasty...
