Dose 0,33l: Schwarz, kräftige Trübung, eher flüchtiger mittelporiger beiger Schaum; sehr würzige + kräftig malzige Nase, dunkle/getrocknete Beeren, florale/grasige Hopfenaromen, kräftig Röstmalz, dunkles Karamell, kräftige Rauchnoten, Schinkenspeck, Röstaromen, Haselnussschalen, Kaffee, dunkle Schokolade; kräftig malziger + fruchtiger Körper, kräftige Süße, dunkle/eingelegte Früchte, leichte Hopfennoten, leicht süßliche Raucharomen, Röstmalz, dunkles Karamell, Röstaromen, sehr cremig, deutliche Kohlensäure, dunkle Schokolade, Kakao; malzig-trockener Nachgang

Can at home, black beer, no head. Aroma is peat, Laphroaig, chocolate, iodine. Taste is the same, Laphroaig, peat, bitter, chocolate, little iodine, long Laphroaig aftertaste. very much Laphroaig but i love it.

Palone, czekoladowe, torfowe, podkłady kolejowe, bandaże, wędzone śliwki. Barwa czarna, nieprzejrzysta, piany brak. Goryczka niska, czekoladowa. Gładkie, brakuje większej pełności, świetnie zagrała beczka po laphroig, nie czuć alkoholu.

Black color with low beige head. Aroma: initially loads of puff - peat, medicinal, iodine then layers of chocolate, molasses and dried dates appear. Taste: Laphroaig character at its best - lots of hospital and pflasters, peat and as it warms up chocolate, prunes and dates overtake, bit watery feeling. Full bodied, low carbonation, low to moderate carbonation. If more oily in texture, this would be a dessert from Islay. Still very very good.
