Blind tasting with Dr.beer , sampled in Black glassware. Smell is not so intense. Some hints of wheat, no hops, bit cloves. Some alcohol, but not boozy. Taste has some cloves, lower side of bitterness, aromatic maltyness, bit wheat, more in the MF than the taste. Little dryness at the end. Some residential sweetness. Average carbonation.

50cl Bottle from REWE Stenten. Clear amber brown colour, off-white head. Aroma of brown sugar, husks, burnt caramel, malt, typical lager smell. Flavour is medium sweet, light malty, light toast, brown sugar, caramel, light bitter finish. Light bodied. OK.

Mar ’15. A 0.5 l bottle from some supermarket in Berlin. It poured a clear copper-brown body with a small head. Caramel aroma plus a weak note of cheap white wine. Lightly bitter and sweet flavor, lightly roasted and toasted malts. Grainy. Also, alcohol was felt quite much. Finished bitter and warming within caramel. Harsher in grainy way than the two bocks I had before, not bad for this kind of macro, but far from good.

Bottle from Sky, Lübeck. Clear dark golden with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and dark sugar. Flavor is quite sweet and light bitter. Sweet finish. 310514

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein rötlichbraunes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch leicht röstmalzig, Karamell, etwas würzig. Geschmack röstmalzig, schokoladig, leicht würzig.

Bottle from trade with McTapps, many thanks. Reddish brown color with small white head. Aroma of malt, honey, caramel. Sweet malty taste with bee wax, butterny notes. Alcoholic bitterness. Drinkable.

Bottle. Pours clear amber with airy off- white head. Clear aroma of malt with touches of caramel and fruit. Sweetish flavour of malt and varamel with notes of fruit. Sparse hoppy notes. Bitterish aftertaste. OK but nothing particularly impressive.

Deep dark amber coloured. Malty aroma. The same in the flavour. Soft mouthfeel.

50cl bottle @ home. Clear dark copper color, lightly creamy, medium sized off-white to beige head that lasts for a couple of minutes and leaves fair lacing. Smell malts, grains, a hit of sweet. Taste malts, lightly sweet, some caramel, a hint of sugar, a hint of overripe fruits. Medium carbonation, low to medium body. A lot better than expected.
