Tuckerman Brewing Co.’s flagship beer. Our interpretation of an American style Pale Ale, it is brewed using English and Belgian specialty malts and four different domestic whole hops. It is dry hopped and bottle conditioned, creating a beer with a strong malt character and a floral yet spicy hop quality. Tuckerman Pale Ale will be available year round. Currently, it is our introductory beer and is our only brew available.

Bottle at home. Stopped in a total wine a few towns over and they had lots of new breweries for me. Amber gold and large foamy head. Nose is quite fruity and some malt. Tastes of tangerines, peach, sugary candy, grass, some malt. Creamy palate. Sweet finish.

Bottle at home in CT. Pours clear, honey-gold with a frothy off-white head. The nose has some crackery malts, lightly tangy citrus, bread. Medium sweet flavor, lightly syrupy, with more crackers, orange, some white grape, alcohol. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly warming on the finish, with further tangy citrus, tangerine, a bit of raw alcohol, graham crackers, sugar. Maybe this beer isn’t totally fresh or something, because this is not great.

Bottle from Hannaford, Raymond NH. Aroma is bready malt with some herbal hops. Appearance is medium brown (between iced tea and root beer) with pillowy finger-width head and mild lacing. Taste is on the sweet side with some hop bitterness balance. Palate is medium bodied with average texture. Carbonation is average and the finish is mildly sweet. Overall, true to description--a pale ale with malt and hop balance, slightly tipped to the malty side. Enjoyable.

Thanks Grant for sharing this one. fresh 6-pack I poured 4 ounces out of a bottle to enjoy. a golden yellow very tiny head. Nose is oats, rye and sweet almost corn like with a faint english bitterness. Nice mouthfeel. a sharp piney bitterness. I get a very mild grapefruit taste, light oat and a decent sweet malt finish. Not a huge flavor here but it’s pretty drinkable. would love to try it at the source.
