Bottle. A very dark copper color with a medium to small head. Aroma is faint pumpkin spice with a touch of roasted grains. Taste has notes of a porter with a light pumpkin spice finish. Pretty good.

Bottle from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours copper with an off-white head. Aroma of pie spice an veg. Near med body. It’s pie spice, veg, and maybe a chocolate note. Lots of cinnamon. Fairly bitter - unless the spice is confusing me. I’d say it’s one of the better pie spice beers - setting aside the top 50 or so. Certainly drinkable.

Bottle from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours copper with a beige head. Strong nutmeg aroma. Med body or close. Flavor is nutmeg, ginger, cinnamon. Maybe a touch of chocolate. Or not. The spice is the game. Pretty decent version.

12oz bottle pours up with a clear amber body that supports a tan head of foam. The aroma offers up modest winter spices like cinnamon and nutmeg to go along with a thin pumpkin like sensation. The taste has a near overzealous degree of winter spices that are immune to the tempering effects of a thin malty sweetness and a mild pumpkin pulse here and there. Decent but it could tone down the spices a bit and bring up the body and the pumpkin.

Bottle @ home, picked up at Wilbur’s in a mixer sixer. Pours a deep orangish brown appearance with a light brown head. The aroma is mostly toasted pumpkin / squash, some caramel, bread, and only light spices. Medium light body. Moderately spicy. Flavor has some orange citrus, toast, lemon, vanilla, allspice, cinnamon, and a moderate amount of pumpkin. Thankfully, the spices aren’t overdone but the beer is still a bit thin and not all that flavorful.
