Inspirations for our beers come from everywhere. Sometimes it’s like the universe is telling us there needs to be a beer. It sounds pretentious and, in a way, it is… But with the release of this Omnipollo® German style pilsner we are in the center of a vortex of incidences telling us that all we want to drink is a truly well-crafted pilsner.
My own pilsner journey started long ago, and pilsner is still my favorite style of beer, but it totally seems like the right time to celebrate this style. The signs are there. Like when your favorite rapper doesn’t enjoy the IPA you had planned to brew in his honor, saying “none of that fruity stuff”. Or the fact that for the last couple of years, all brewers at festivals will not be found drinking the latest hype brew, but instead gathering at the tap of whoever brought a classic pilsner.
A pils is sort of like your favorite t-shirt, you wear it often, but it is never a loud statement. So we raise our (pilsner) glass to you, and hope you will enjoy Devins German style pilsner and the rest of our pilsner journey. Be curious, be classic.

Can 330ml. @ home.[ As Omnipollo Devin the Dude's Brew ].Clear medium orange yellow colour with a average, frothy - creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, straw - grass, sweet malt, pale malt, light bread, moderate hoppy, grass - straw. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration, grainy, grass, sweet malt, bread, pale malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20190414] 6-3-7-3-13

Can It's a pilsner and that's it I would say, bit more hops on a nose, but as of taste it's very very classic. Strong malty base, light sweetness, bitter finish. OK

Can 330ml (Beergium) Golden colour, steady white head, some lace. Barley, some grain in the nose. Light-bodied. Malty, grainy, light grassy hops, citrus peels in the flavour. Decent, solid Belgian-style pils.

Can. Pours a hazy golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity grainy grassy hoppy aroma. Fruity malty grainy grassy bitter flavor. Has a fruity malty grainy grassy bitter finish.

Can. Slightly unclear golden color with creamy white head. Aroma is classic noble hops aroma, some sweetish malts. Taste is grassy, crackery malts, bready, a touch sweeter and fuller in body than expected. Soft mouthfeel with smooth carbonation. Surprisingly high quality, although it's less dry than expected.

Optisch klares Gold, sehr wenig Perlung. In der Nase sehr hopfig, schön grasig. Toller Schaum. Im Trunk passt der Bierstil. Leicht grasig, hopfig, dann bitter, hinten blumig. Unspektakulär, dennoch lecker.

Fat på Örebro Ölhall, Omnipollo Tap Takeover. Crushable, men lite väl klen även för en pilsner. Perikles isåfall bättre.
