Cask at the brewery tap. Pours clear gold with a tight, creamy topping. Grassy hops in the nose, crispy pale grains, lemon peel. Light sweet flavour with more grass, citrus rind, dry pale grains, biscuits. Light bodied with fine carbonation; good nick. Clean finish, nice grassy bitterness, some husky grains. Good.

On tap at the brewery. Pours clear, copper, with a beautiful, creamy, head and thick lacing. The nose is pine, peanuts, caramel, and whole grains. Dry and mildly bitter. Medium body, astringent, and stickly. This is a reasonably tasty bitter, but kinda harsh.

On cask at the brewery with jcnielsen. Bright, dark orange appearance with a creamy tan head. Herbal, orange blossom, floral, doughy nose. Light to medium body. A little chewy. Moderate high bitterness. Orange citrus and earth. Drinks fine.

Golden-amber with a little bit of haze. Lots of blueberry on the nose, something I don’t normally associate with EKG. Light touch of caramel in the malt signature. The palate is light, sweet, not that much character actually. Would like to try this w/o the sparkler. A bit heavy for cask, though.

Cask - an interesting strong pale - at first, it presents as dry, with a strong miner bite and moderate bitterness - however, there are toasty, buttery notes late, along with some toffee sweetness - finish is crisp, crackery malt - solid, but sub par for this brewer.
