Purs rather clear amberblonde. Small white head fades instantly to a very small layer of bubbles. Smell is funky, not fresh at all, but nothing like an aged beer. No clear fruityness. Perhaps older fruits? Doesn’t smell rotten or anything either, too. bit bitter, some yeast. Some spices. Taste is sharp , Sour/bitter, rather dry, has a very mild sweetness. i detect some apples, perhaps even a slight hint of cherry thats rather hidden. Some citrus ( lemon ? ) Very dry. agressive carbo. Interesting. I don’t like this beer all to much, but all the aspects are OK. Its just one giant mess to me, unfortunately. it’s an everything / nothing beer. No clear direction. can’t say I hate it, either. Wouldn’t say it’s a must-try, but I can say its for sure more interesting to try than a sweet -fruitsyrup beer. Anyway, at this price setting ( 4.25 € in a shop for a small bottle ) this is rediculous. Perhaps for under a € i might concider to retry someday but this amount of money can buy me way better

22/I/13 - 33cl bottle from Willems (Grobbendonk) @ home - BB: III/13 (2013-87)

Clear orange beer, lots of dark sediment falling to the bottom, irregular white head, unstable, little adhesive. Aroma: lots of green apples, citrus, sourness, bit infected (?), tobacco, sugary, Turkish delight. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: sugary, some citrus, green apple skin, apple juice, bit sourish. Aftertaste: little sour, fruity, sugary, apples sauce, little bitter. Ok for a fruit beer, but nothing spectacular or particularly beery or balanced.

33cl bottle.

Bottle 330ml. @ home.Clear medium orange yellow colour with small sized body particles, a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly to fully diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy fruity - berry (can not figur out what fruit - berry it is - maybe pomegranate), tropical fruit, artificial, frossen berries, immature papaja. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet and light light acidic with a average to long duration, dry, sweet frut, tart fruit, artificial. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. IMO funny but very strange beer ! [20120106]

Clear, very pale yellow color, small white head that disappears fast. Smell artificial cherries, sweetness and musty. Very sweet cherry taste. Don’t taste anything else actually. Weird color for a beer that tastes like cherries. Decent carbo, low body. Weird beer, quite surprising fruitbeer in my opinion.
