Big Bear is a classic Pale Ale-style beer. It’s very English... a beer like beers used to be, made traditionally.

Dorada anaranjada. Espuma super abundante. Aroma lupulado herbal. En boca presenta gas excesivo, base malteada y amargor considerable que va imponiéndose a medida que avanza el trago. Notas herbales. El gas desmerece el resultado. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

330 ml bottle. Almost clear, dark golden body with a huge, foamy off-white head. Not much aroma here, just a hint of malt and herbs. Weak in flavors as well, some malt and kind of bitter herbal with a hint of fruit. Medium body and light in aftertaste. Pretty plain straight forward, no complexity and weak in flavor.

330ml bottle. Minimally cloudy, reddish amber colour with small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Minimally sweet-ish, caramel malty and fruity hoppy aroma, hints of red berries and yellow stone fruit purée. Taste is Pilsener-like dry hoppy, rather plain hop bitterness, subtle malty sweetness, cautious fruitiness with hints of strawberry and peach.

Bottle, 0.33l. Hazy amber color with thin creamy off-white head and average sparkling appearance. Aroma of pineapple, peach, ripe fruits and resin. Taste starts with moderate sweet toasted malt, follows by ripe fruits, chalky and herbal with heavy bitter finish. Light to medium body, oily texture and lively carbonation in palate. Biiiiiiiiittttterrrrr bear...

Bottle from Terre de Boissons Calais and drunk at home. Clear deep amber with lasting ivory head. Now that isn’t very good. Odd malty aroma. Some plastic aroma. Flavour is malty and still something not quite right. Some pepper hop on end. Drain pour I am afraid.

Bottled@SBWF2015. Hazy orange colour, small white head. Aroma is fruity, wheaty, floral and some mild wour wooden notes. Flavour is quite similar, but in a quite nice balance. Also some mild alcohol sweetness to balance out the flavour.
