Tap @ Blue Corn Santa Fe Southside. Pours a clear, dark orange appearance with an off white head. Toasty caramel malty, bready, slight grassy aroma. A bit thick, chewy caramel malty, herbal, hay flavor. Not bad.

Slightly hazy. Light amber. Mostly mushroomy/toasty aroma. Mushroomy character, overly toasty palate and mild bitterness. Boring stuff.

Pretty boring, even for an amber ale - some notes of toasted grains and light sweetness - the faintest tang of hops - has that metallic character I noticed in their lager as well, but this beer had even less going on, so it was a lot more prominent - meh.
