Bottle at Centrolina DC pours a clear amber with some creamy, white head. Nose has some dried cherry, some cherry juice too, a little raisin, a little funk, some malt. Flavor follows, light malt, a little brown sugar, raisins, cherries, prunes, light vinegar. Dry finish. Another well done.

Bottle sample at Iron Gate. Clear bright amber red color, white head with delicate lacing. Aroma of very dusty attic corners, cherries, dates. Taste is sweet and sour cherry with light tannin and light citrus. Very tasty.

Small bottle split two ways at fridge temp. Dark red appearance. Smells nice. Taste is very sugary and fake cherry. Not going to finish. There is a little tartness at the finish

Handpump at Lambic Zoon, Milan
Hazy red-amber color with frothy head. Delicate fruity/cherry aroma. Dry but soft mouthfeel, lowly carbonated; delicate flavor with nice fruity touch; low bitterness; mild astringency in the final.
Elegant beer; the handpump reduces the carbonation and boosts the flavors; excellent.

Currants, subtle oak and cheese underneath. Clear maroon, medium pink head. Currant, sour cherries at midpalate, plum finish. Cask-like carbonation, light body, pleasantly tart. Expensive, but I don’t exactly feel cheated either.

Draught, small stable pinkish creamy head, clear beautifull deep red colour, aroma of plums, cherries, and leather with a woody hint, flavour of plums, cherries and olives, light mellow fruity sourness, light bodied, long light sour olive aftertaste. Sinfully drinkable.

24/01/2013 Buskers Pub (tap). Bevuta al Birra del Borgo Takeover. Limpida, color Campari, schiuma bianca sottile e poco persistente.
