Bottle in a hotel room in NH. Pours clear, copper gold with a fine, foamy white head. Pretty poor. Lots of sugary, bready malts, some metallic tang, caramel. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sugary sweet finish with metallic bite, bread, mild tangy berries. Poor.

Bottle @ home tossed via courtesy of BlackIPA. Tasted during the Pussypete presents Molson/Labatt Grand Tasting 2013 in my parent’s basement. Cheers! Pours a clear burnt orange appearance with a cream colored head. Corny, cardboard, sweet fruity macro product aroma. Some caramel and toast in the flavor along with a touch of butter. Tastes kind of similar to the Michelob specialty series where they attempted to do interesting styles but most just tasted like corn. Molson Golden blows this away.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a dark amber color with a large creamy/soapy yellow-white head that lingered and left decent lacing. The aroma was sweet and tangy sugar, faint honey and a touch of tropical fruits. The flavor was very sweet and tangy with vague citrus, honey and tropical fruits. Medium length tangy finish with lingering citrus and honey. Moderately full bodied.

Clear copper coloured body with a slight hint of an amber glow and a thinnish, two centimetre tall off-white head. Aroma of light malt, toffee, caramel and a hint of nutmeg - not much though. Light-bodied; Sharp metallic flavour up front with a lot of toffee and caramelised sugars and a bit of alcohol noticeable with the malt at the end. Aftertaste fairly one dimensional with toffee and malt and not much else aside from bitterness and alcohol. Overall not such a great beer, but that was expected - neat to see in a bottle like this and nice to try, but not much more than that. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle (brews collection, retro labeling) purchased from Liqour Outlet in Boonton, New Jersey on 22-April-2012 for US$1.35 sampled at home in Washington on 15-September-2012.

my bottle also says limited edition brewers collection, made in the USA. pour is like a pale lager. nice thinnish creamy head. smell is simply clean and fresh. quite strong initially and almost comes across alky rude. must be around 6%. yes, just a little more than this lager lover can appreciate. goodly co2 in this apparent higher gravity lager beer. the sizzle saves it from being a boner. does not mellow thru the session.
