Bomber from Taylor’s Market in Sacramento, CA. Pours dark brown/black with a big frothy tan head. Nice hop aroma. Seems like resin/pine. Tastes more like grapefruit though, and there’s a lot of dark roast malt - much more than in many "black" IPAs. The finish is like a bitter pine hopped stout. Grapefruit - pine - so many taste buds, so little talent. Think it’s resin now. Very good ale.
