0.5 L bottle. Pours opaque black, with a good sized, fizzy, tan head. The aroma is dark roast coffee, lots of milk sugar, cocoa, and burnt caramel. Sweet and roasted, with a bit of bitterness. Heavy body, sticky, clingy, and hard. This is a pretty fair stout, but a little to roasty and harsh for my tastes.

Tap @ brewpub. Dark brown/black appearance with a dark brown head. Sweet whipped cream, rich vanilla, milk chocolate aroma that is incredibly inviting. Roasty dark chocolate malty flavor that really does taste like French Vanilla ice cream! Surprisingly fun to drink.

Tap at the brewpub - dark pour with a thick tan head - aroma has strong vanilla, light chocolate, and a slight anise character - very creamy body - bitter dark chocolate is complimented by roasted notes and a moderate bitterness - this makes way for a creamy vanilla sweetness that really is reminiscent of iced cream - a very tasty sweet stout.
