A distinctly Northern India Pale Ale. A colourful blend of strong malty flavours, subtle fruity notes and punchy, hoppy character. Medium to full bodied, it’s got that classic bitter IPA finish, plus a throat tickling aftertaste. This is the perfect beer to open up new horizons.

33cl bottle from Tosano, 6.2%. Amber color, big thick white head, good lacing. Aroma of caramel malts and burnt straw, mild woody and metallic bitterness. Taste is bitter, medium lasting finish, average carbonation, light to medium body. Nothing that stands out.

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 12C). Bottle 33 cl - Batch L6214 (BBF 30/11/17). AROMA: medium-low hop aroma with citric notes with a medium-low slight sweet malt background. APPEARANCE: light amber color and translucent. medium ivory head with good retention. TASTE: medium-low hop flavor similar to the aroma (citric and slightly floral), followed by a slightly sweet and almost toasty malt background. medium to medium-high bitterness with a dry and bitter finish. PALATE: medium-light body with medium-low carbonation. OVERALL: a standard IPA that doesnt impress but somewhat ok.

Bottle, 0.33l. Clear amber color with thin creamy off-white head and sparkling appearance. Aroma is grassy and herbal with toffee and some earthy notes. Taste starts with medium sweet toffee and toasted malt, follows by mild dried fruits, slightly papery and medicinal, mouthfeel is rather dry, while finish is moderate grassy bitter. Light to medium body, oily texture and lively carbonation on palate. ABV is 6.2%, not so special, like typical English IPA...
