Draft at Fool’s Gold. It pours clear amber with a decent white head. The nose is soft, juicy, dank, sticky, grass, white grape and candied citrus. The taste is bitter, grassy, dank, pine needles, varnish, citrus peel, white grape, light toffee, varnish and good hop bite with a lingering bitter - dry finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Lighter than I had expected, but still delicious.

Can. Hazy dark orange with large foamy whitish head, piney hops aroma, low carbonation, taste starting with a sweetness followed by a hops explosion, orange peel flavor, medium finish with floral aftertaste. Nicely balanced and very nicely hoppy.

16 oz mug draft at Spritzenhaus 33 in Brooklyn, New York. The pour is a mostly clear orange golden with a small white head. The aroma is bright floral, citrus and some soft dank hops. The taste is hop forward, with juicy floral citrus hops and lingering earth dank in the back. The palate is light to medium bodied with the dank dry finish. So good. From my limited experience, Other Half certainly knows how to brew hoppy beers.

Location: Draft at Pony Bar (10th Ave), 11/15/14
Aroma: The nose is pine/resiny hops, with plenty of citrus hops as well
Appearance: This one is an orange colored beer with a small head and average lace
Flavor: The flavor is rather hoppy, light sweetness balances out the clean, strong bitterness
Palate: Medium bodied, leans light considering the ABV, easy drinking, clean, and a dry finish
Overall Impression: Really quite enjoyed this one. I enjoyed the juicy hop flavor a ton, it's close to flawless from that perspective. Excellent stuff. I have rarely been disappointed by any of the hoppy Other Half beers I have tried, and this is no exception. Worth seeking out.

Draft at the brewery taproom. Pours hazy gold with a modest, white foam head. Good pithy citrus nose with hints of pine. Medium sweet flavor with decent piney bitterness, orange rind, some grass. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Slightly resinous on the finish with some further rindy and piney bitterness, along with a lovely citrus fruit character. Very good.

The Sampler, Brooklyn tap: Pours orange with a white head. Aroma is orange and grapefruit; basically a citrus hop bomb. Taste is somewhat bitter. Quite little sweetness except for the rampant fruitiness. A good, very flavorful IPA.
