Growler filled 5/7/16 plus bottle, both shared 5/12/16.
Great classic Trillium pour. Not quite soupy, but thoroughly cloudy. Deep brass-golden with a big, well-retained, white head.
Tons of peachy-pine, apricot, nectarine and spicy/dank Galaxy in the nose make for a pretty explosive aroma. This batch isn’t on par with the best batches of Mettle and Upper Case I’ve had but it’s nothing to scoff at. There’s a bit too much resin and heavy peachy-twang as compared to just the pure juice that can be some of their best offerings/batches. Still, it’s a minor quibble and this is massively inviting with bare biscuit/cracker in the background and softer citrus from the amarillo (which mostly seems to get dominated by the galaxy and colombus). Little bit of alcohol heat, no flaws.
Assertively bitter with strong pine and white grapefruit. The juicy nectarine-pineapple of the galaxy helps break this up somewhat, but there’s an underlying dullness/strong vegetal character that works against the bright juiciness. Texture/carbonation and attenuation are all spot-on, however, so it still goes down very easily, with peachy-pine and dank, spicy galaxy notes on the finish. Light alcohol. As with the aroma, just a bit too "twangy" (combination of the pine-like resin and peach notes).

Bottle thanks to the Boise crew. Pours a clear orange color with a large white head. A big fruity hop nose. Soft. Wonderful flavor, oranges, sticky sweet hops, tropical fruit, dusty malt base. Soft and sort of mellow but huge. Wow.

Pours hazy gold into a tulip. Bright white head with medium retention recedes to hug rim. Dank resin and tropical fruit aromas. Sweet yeast and caramel upfront turning to hot resin and mango in the lasting finish.

Bottle shared at Kernel Brewery at Zwanze Dat 20/09/2014. Huge thanks to Leighton for this one. Clear golden coloured pour with a loose white head. Aroma is big juicy mellon, pretty big nelson sauvin like character, soft citrus and lovely resin. Flavour is composed of juicy peachy tropical fruits, grassy hop, some orange skin. Palate is really smooth, melts on the tongue, some sticky resin. Smoother assertive bitterness and nice fruityness. Really tasty.

Zwanze Day at the Kernel. Keg. Big thanks to Leighton for this one. Lightly hazy gold beer, big off white head. Palate is light and airy. Good fine carbonation. Light malts, little creamy sweetness. Hops are a really nice floral pine, whispers of skunk and floral tropical fruits. Light airy finish. Very light and so very drinkable. Lovely.

Bottle split at Mother Arch during the 2014 Zwanze Celebrations, big thanks to the Leightonator, 20/09/14. Murky orange amber with a well appointed light beige covering that retains well. Nose is pine, mandarin, yuzu, light tropicana, earthy hops. Taste comprises juicy hops, bitter orange, grapefruit, mango pulp, pine. Medium + body, fine carbonation, semi drying close with pine resin and a juicy hop linger. Solid DIPA, pretty crushable stuff ABV considered!
