Appearance: Redish light brown. Slightly hazy. Nice, thick creamy off-white head. Aroma: Quite fruity. Good amount of malt. Taste: More malt and hops. Some fruit. Slight bitterness. Info: 330ml bottle, 17/6-2010

tap in Bouillon, credited to Brasserie de Bouillon - Pours clear dark gold with a one finger head. The aroma is mild bready malt and some fruit, possible cherry. It tastes light and sweet with some mild hops and an even, balanced finish. Decent.

Bottle from Bootlegger. Amber color with a huge frothy beige head. Aroma is lightly roasted caramel. Thinnish body with frothy carbonation. It’s rather bland roast caramel/fruit with some spicey bitterness. It does have impressive lace.

Bottled (from lahoublonniere.be, Bouillon Godefroy Biere Rousse, Brasserie du Grand Enclos, B-6832 Sensenruth-Bouillon). Hazy amber colour with big foamy slightly off-white head. Good lace. Aroma is caramel, some burnt sugar, mild spicyness as well as some earthyness. Flavour is earth, spices caramel malts, some yeastyness as well.

Bottle 33cl.[ As Brasserie de Bouillon - Godefroy Biére Rouge ]. Clear medium orange color with a average to large, frothy - creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to light light heavy malty, roasted, caramel, dusty. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20081122]

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Comes as Godefroy Biére Rouge credited to Brasserie de Bouillon. Pours a hazy amber golden with floating impurities and a creamy, off-white head leaving some lacework. Sweetish and lightly fruity aroma. Medium-bodied, some fruit and a hoppy finish. 221108

50 cL bottle. Pours slight hazy orange with a diminished white head. Mild fruity and mild malty aroma. Flavour is sweet and malty with a mild yeasty fruity note. Smooth and light yeasty flavoured into the finish.
