Optisch dunkles Kupfer, Schaum bricht schnell weg. In der Nase Karamell. Im Trunk ebenso deutlich Karamellmalz, süß, ziemlich straightforward, okay.

35cl Blik van Beer Republic Advent '24. Amber kleur, witte kraag. Caramel, licht moutig, redelijk droog, licht bloemig zoetje, bittere finish. Lichte body. Degelijk, niet heel spannend.

Türchen 2: Almost clear, Amber color and a white head. Nose Is malty, caramel, roasty. Taste follows the nose, Toffee and bready flavors, earthy-malty hoppy Finish.

Tap. Clear amber color with white head. Aroma is bready, mildly earthy. Taste is bready, mild caramel, nutty. Oily mouthfeel. Soft carbonation. Not bad, pretty clean!

Seems on the sweet side for a craft(adjacent) lager, with a good bit of corn mixed with notes of apple, biscuit, and yeast. Finishes with lingering grain and a slight floral bitterness. I’d be more critical but the only other option at the Delta Sky Lounge is Mich Ultra, so I guess I’m okay with a Blue Point.
