Inspired by our famous hand-dipped Cider Mill caramel apples, this dessert-like hard cider has notes of sharp green apple, balanced out with smooth caramel sweetness.
Caramel Apple is joining the Kinder Cider Series, made in partnership with Keep Growing Detroit with a mission to raise funds and awareness for Urban Gardens. KGD is a nonprofit dedicated to promoting a food sovereign city where the majority of fruits and vegetables consumed by Detroiters are grown by residents within the city.
It gets even sweeter: Carhartt has offered to match Blake’s donation to KGD.
Through Caramel Apple sales and Carhartt‘s match, we are setting out to donate $20,000 in fruit trees to KGD to be planted in Detroit next Spring.

Clear gold pour. The aroma is of caramel apples. The flavor is of course big on caramel apples too. It's pretty sweet. It's not bad at all, but something is lacking to get it beyond average.

Was nervous about this can, had a pretty high ABV and it sounded sweet. Off apple nose. First taste is fake ginger heat with a followup of sweet rudeness without being cloying. It pours with a big pale large and in-charge clear command. Yes, looks and smells like a drier apple cider but there is a bright fricken green apple tartness, dripping with a caramel sweetness. At first I thought it may be too much sweetness but now I'm rethinking my thought. A slight medicinal feeling is present throughout the whole episode. Getting used to it near the end or else its just dulling my senses. Rather crisp with co2 clear to the last drop outtah the bottom of the can.

12 ounce can from a Festival somewhere, 10/16/20. Clear gold, thin white head, fair retention. Aroma of brown sugar, sweet apple, pear. Taste is caramel, sugar, sweet apple. A hint of burnt sugar. Medium bodied, a little artificial.
