Bottle from a local bottle shop. Fairly characteristic Dubbel aroma with brown malt, caramel, some yeast, a spicy touch, notes of brown sugar, dried fruits and raisins. Flavour is sweet and light bitter. Medium body. Pretty drinkable Dubbel overall, not bad.

Opaque dark brown colour, small but stable beige frothy head, diminishing to a thin layer with yeast circles, fair lacing. Aroma light roasted malt, candy sugar, some treacle, soap, caramel. Taste light heavy to medium sweet, roasted malts, light coffee, caramel. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, sweetbitter aftertaste, roasty notes, sugary, nice.

Fles op vakantie geprobeerd met LiekevdV. Het is een donkerbruin bier met een volle beige schuim. Het heeft een moutige wat caramelachtige geur. De smaak is moutig, caramel achtig en kruidig, drinkt lekker weg.

Bottle sampled at THT December. Darker brown with big fluffy beige head. Plastic, sweet brown sugar, grapes, light raisins and brown bread. Soft herbs, veggies and quite some CO2. Over medium sweet and medium bitter. Over medium bodied with loads of carbonation.

Bottle shared at THT December ‘18. Brown with a tan head. Aroma of yeast, caramel, malt and toffee. Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
