13/X/17 - 33cl bottle from Geers (Oostakker) @ Arno & Meggy's place - BB: 1/V/19 (2017-1773)
Note: paired with mussels and fries, was a good pairing...
Clear blond to orange beer, big solid creamy white head, very stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: very malty, grains, cow fodder, sweetish, bit chemical, rubbery. MF: ok carbon, medium to light body. Taste: malty sweetness up front, soft bitterness, bit dusty, chemical, more malts. bit grassy. Aftertaste: lots of malts, cow fodder, pretty bitter, bit rubbery.

Good thick white head, lacey; hazy orange-golden beer. Alcohol, spices, pale malt, rootspices. Bitterish-spicy, again rootspices, mannah. Slick, medium bodied, spritzy carbonation feel. Halfway decent - much better than the first version - but nothing to rave about yet.

Pours unclear blonde, Ok white head. Smell is bit sweet, slightly aromatic, not superintense. Taste is bit bitter, some green aspects ( guessing the leaves ) bit sweet-aromatic. Not all that great, but not bad.
