12 ounce can from the cidery, 9/2/18. Nearly colorless and could easily pass for seltzer water. Aroma of earth and tart pear. Taste is dry pear, pear skins, earth. Almost funky. Thin. Solid.

Sampled at The-Fest in Woosta.
Faded yellow/straw sort of color. Short fizz.
All tart, fleshy eating apple nose. A tiny bit of aerosol. Not much of that typical perfume I get from perry.
Drinks like straight sour mix. Subtle red apple essence & just a hint of pear sugar. Green apple finish.
Carbonation halfway down the bottle was faltering. Body was light, a touch ashy, but not overly acidic.
I was expecting something more floral, but it still drinks decent.

Bottle thanks to secret santa. The bottle makes no mention of spices (as the RB description currently lists). Pours with a hazy and exceptionally pale hue of yellow with minimal head formation. Aromas of lemon zest, tangerine, pear, baked bread, sodium, lightly acidic, tangy, some tannins. Flavors are very tannic for a perry. Dry, sharp, acidic, zesty. An interesting but light tropical fruit note. Bone dry tannins. Very interesting. A sharp, slightly minerally fruit flavor. A bit understated. Easy to drink. Dry, sharp, light bodied, tannic, medium to light bubbles. One of the better perry’s that I have had.
