Pale, amber coloured ale. Clean, crisp and bitter, using Goldings and Fuggles. This is one of those "one-off" brews that proved so popular we’re keeping it as a regular.

Cask at charlies bar Very mild Aroma. Slightly nutty malty. Slightly fruity malty. Flavor is super nice with a good solid malty base and a well hopped flavorful bitterhoppy balance.

Cask @ Old Gate, Hebden Bridge. Amber with thin head. Clear and fairly crisp, it’s certainly easy drinking and slips down the palate with ease. There’s some hops, some fruit, less malts but a few are evident.

Cask at the Queens Head, Kings Cross backstreets, 24/10/14. Clear golden/amber with a decent light beige head that retains well. Nose is biscuit, caramel, earthy notes, mellow fruit tones. Taste comprises biscuit malt, toffee, light spice, fairly malt driven. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with moderate bitterings. Decent bitter.

(Cask at Angleterre, 20140906) The beer poured golden and clear. Its head was small and white. Aroma had fruitiness, earth and bitterness. Palate was medium bodied with low carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, earth, sweetness, malts and bitternes. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter. Nice brew showing English hops. Bit watery though.
