Aroma of coffee beans, huge espresso, malt, some liquorice notes. Flavour is light sweet with a moderate bitter finish. Very tasty, total espresso aroma.

10/XII/15 - on tap @ Struise Schooltje (Oostvleteren) - BB: n/a (2015-1704) Thanks to Urbain and Carlo for the beers!

Clear red brown beer, creamy off-white head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: mocha, coffee, caramel, some chocolate. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: lots of coffee, mocha, pretty roasted, bitter. Aftertaste: cocoa powder, coffee grit, bit sourish, green coffee beans, hoppy touch. Not my cup of coffee, but well done in it's genre.

Keg at The Old School, Oostvleteren, 21/11/15. Rich chestnut brown with a decent beige cap that retains well. Nose is rich coffee grinds, toffee, light spice, malt, biscuit. Taste comprises coffee cake, sweet malt, toffee, roasted tones, dark fruit shreds. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, smei drying close. Decent stuff, nice coffee profile.

Draught Quite stable cream head over hazy foxy-brown beer. Pure espresso coffee/ coffee machine with a lot of maltsyrup. Coffee/mocha-like, but more like a chocolate bonbon with coffee. Again some darker malts. Medium bodied, well-carbonated, slick. Oh well...

Draught @ UBF 2015. Dark amber color, full sized off-white head that lasts for a decent while. Aroma is malts and strong strong espresso roast. Taste malts, roast, dark malts, strong espresso and moderately bitter. Decent body and carbonation. Oh yeah, I like this.

Bottle from Burg Bieren, large sample. Slightly hazy copper color, medium off-white head. Aroma of ground coffee, bit earthy, bit spicy, slight caramel. Bit bitter and dry in taste, again spicy coffee. Bit thin bock, but the coffee and caramel gives it extra taste. Ok beer.

Bottle. Brown, small head. Really strong aroma of espresso beans. If it wouldn’t have been cold, it would have been hard to know whether it was coffee or beer. The strong coffee is dominant in the taste as well, with some notes of malt and bitters. Gritty mouthfeel. Body is a bit thin and too much carbs.
