On tap at the brewery. Pours brown with medium off-white head. Caramel, malty, nuts, sweetish, bit herbal and sourish. Medium bodied.

Draught @ the source. Dark brown with reddish tint towards the light, small foamy beige head, light coffee aroma, high carbonation, medium bitter mocha taste, small body, long bitter mocha finish. Well balanced brew.

No recall on when, where, and how I tried this, presumably from my trip to NY about 2+ years ago ??? This was a random lost rating which I found on a piece of paper. Pours very dark amberbrown to black, small white head. Smell is roasted malts, bit sweet. Slightly honey ( very hidden) Taste is bit bitter, some sweetness. Honey is barely noticable. Intense taste for the ABV. Bit chocolatty finish.

From tap. Pours deep brown, vague orange glare, small tan head. Aroma is roasted malty and caramelish. Toasted malty. Breadish and sweet malty. Sweet and caramelish finish. Light toffee note.

Decent flavor with some sweetness to it. Brown in color with a red hue and a smallish head. Decent, but maybe a little too sweet.

A reddish copper ale with a thin off white head. In aroma, sweet fruity caramel malt with light honey notes, light cherry notes, pleasant. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with light peated notes, light grassy hops, OK. On tap at Alewife. 5.1%.
