Caramel coloured body with a copper glow and a thinnish tan head. Aroma of grass, tons of toffee and earth along with some caramel and a touch of yeast and a bit of sweet caster sugars. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong caramel and toffee flavours at first with a noticeable english-y hop profile along with some malt flavours that persist, but shows only the sweetness near the end. Aftertaste is nice and mellow that shows a nice balance, but only a touch of the hop flavours that make this a ’bitter’. Overall, a decent beer to sample, but nothing particularly amazing, but it is a good bitter that’s from here in New York. I sampled this pint (sixteen ounce) can purchased from New Beer Distributors in New York, New York on 21-January-2017 for US$3,00 sampled at home in Upstate New York on 08-April-2017 a day before leaving to get some more beers from the store.

Can 1 pint, Named "Original ESB" at 6.4%. Pours golden with tiny impurities and an almost absent head. Appears fairly British in aroma, with nuts and caramel and what seem like British style hops as well. Rich malty and fruity body, quite sweet with not really enough hops to balance out all the good malts. 031016

Bottle at the brewery. Pours a clear copper orange with small white head that lasts. The aroma is grain and toasted malt. Medium mouth, caramel, grain, light finish, very good.

Poured into a shaker showing well filtered light foam. The nose shows malts and a corn forwardness. The palate is light bodied and carbonated. Flavors of corn malts and light bitterness on the finish. Typical English style ESB but still not done very well.

Keg at the brewery. Pours clear yellow-gold with a slim, foamy white head. The nose holds ripe tangerine, butterscotch, biscuits. Medium sweet flavor with more butterscotch, doughy bread, citrus, almost no bitterness. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Finishes sweet and malty with furher simple bread, toffee, some creme citrus, mild grain. Not bad, but very basic.
