375 mL bottle poured. Given this a few tries now, and it’s time to give it the sit down rating. I have never had a beer from these guys that wasn’t great. Every time I try a new one I try to convince myself that it has a chance to be different from the rest. This one is no exception to the usual. I love it. Pours a golden orange color with no head. Apple, grape, and other tropical fruit aroma. Flavor is very winish, with a lot of sour funk to it. Always makes for a great beer in my opinion. Flavor continues with a lot of grape and berry flavor. Another solid addition from these guys. Fantastic beer.

Bottle - Lots of tart funk, citrus, grape and sweet tropical fruits. Cloudy gold with a decent white head. Up front tart notes, funky yogurty and a creamy finish. Really nice and easy drinking

Bottle from The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours bright gold with a foamy white head. Aroma is tart/sour/funk and some sort of fruit. Wow. As per aroma, and the funk is really nice, and the fruits do tend towards tropical. Goes all sweat sox in the finish. It’s a really nice sour. Not sure about wood, but I think it’s there. Might be a hint of wine, but.... It is all about the sour/funk.

Bottled. Orange-gold, nice lace, cloudy. Nose of grapes, wine, brett, oranges, stewed peaches, vanilla and yogurt. Big punch of vanilla cream yogurt in the mouth. Lemon, orange, pear. Nice but the lactic character is too much.

Bottle. Pours clear orange with a small white head and good lacing. Aroma is hoppy and funky, fruity, passionfruit, barnyard, grapefruit, guava. Flavor is light tart, lightly funky, brett, lots of nelson hoppiness coming through, tropical and a bit dank, blending with the musty funk well. Medium body. This is really good; best that Almanac has come out with in a while. Kudos!
