Bottle pour into shaker pint glass from Fresh Market, Bedford. Appearance is hazy yellow-orange with fine, dark particulates, thin white creamy head with poor retention and trace lacing. Aroma is citrus, fruit, resin. Taste is as aroma over malt bill. Palate is medium bodied with thick, creamy texture, soft carbonation and citrusy sweet over bitter finish. Overall, not as flavorful or aromatic as I would have expected--perhaps a tad old?

Bottle from Tops. Hazy dark golden with nice creamy head. Citrusy, dank aroma. This one’s off to a lovely start. Taste Is juicy, mild hops bitterness, floral. Rich and full. Everything works together beautifully. Really nice.

12 oz bottle poured. Golden hazy pour with a rocky foam head. Herbal heavy aroma with some grassy hops. Flavor is unique. Fruity hops, a bit tropical, but has a banana like quality to it. Sweet malt underneath a grassy hop late. Banana reminder in the late palate. A bit of a weird IPA for me, but not bad overall.

Undated bottle from Box O Hops 12 pack, drunk 11/18/16.
Mostly clear, copper-amber colored body with lighter gold tints and a medium-sized white head showing moderate to low retention.
Orange, spice, caramel, apple and other very straightforward C hop IPA with East Coast specialty malt and estery yeast notes.
Like a slightly improved East Coast IPA from 2008, it at least has a bit more maltiness and a softer texture. The beer is cleaner than the other 3 in the mixed pack and obviously filtered. Seems Ithaca needs a lot of work on unfiltered IPAs. Anyways, this is fruity, simple, clean and with low to moderate sweetness and a light to medium body. Doesn’t need all of this alcohol. I guess this beer was considered good when it first came out?? I remember having it back then and not understanding what the fuss was about. It certainly is nothing to write home about now.
