Draught @ Tommyknocker, Helsinki
Pours pitch black with a smooth head. Aroma of roasty malts, coffee, licorice, hints of berries and syrup. Taste is smooth, syrupy and slightly roasty with some hints of berries, coffee and licorice. Finish is roasty, syrupy and sweetish with hints of berries. A bit too much berries here.

(Keg at Tommyknocker, Helsinki, 20150403) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had chocolate, lactic sweetness and mildly coffee. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, lactic sourness, sweetness, ash and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet and bitter. A somewhat thin and too sweet brew.

Draught @ Tommyknocker, Helsinki. Aroma has coffee, syrupy tones and chocolate. Flat palate, no CO2. Flavour has sweet, syrupy malt, semi-dark chocolate and coffee. The sweetness is quite the same as in east european stouts, but it is not that overwhelming. Sweetish, clean and simple.
