Draft. Dark mahogany beer with a tan head. Big bourbon aroma. Bourbon and malt flavor. Medium bodied. Bourbon and malt linger with light caramel.

Bottle, thanks to Chuck - California Brewery rating #345. Pours clear mahogany with a large bubbly tan head, dissipates slowly, good lacing. Aroma is roasty, bourbon prominent, hints of burnt toast, somewhat earthy. Flavor is light plus sweet, light bitter. Medium body, high carbonation.

Bottle bought in San Diego in February 2017. Dark brown with a medium tan head. Aroma of bourbon, dark fruit, light roasted malt and some nuts. The body was medium and the finish with some warming alcohol.

Bottle. Pours a clear deep brown with a tan head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has dark grains and bourbon with a hint of apple underlying. Flavor has dark grains with a bit of sweetness and a growing bourbon presence.

Bottle thanks to Dan. Pours a very dark brown with small beige head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is cocoa, roast, vanilla, wood. Medium body, wood, roast, light booze, very good.
