In the ranking of strong blond beers of this range, Gordon gives this brew the second place, cleverly justified by the effect of a flexible beer during the introduction, but tremendous during the progress of the tasting. It makes no immediate explosion, but is spread quickly in the whole palate and no element of the mouth is left without reaction. The dry bitterness takes hold of the middle of the tongue while the malt elements are released by the sides. It finds its force while you think you got it under control. This is its great strength and its power of seduction. A high quality product amongst the others in this range.

Servida en pinta, color dorado transparente, espuma blanca de mediana retención. Aroma a malta, caramelo y alcohol.

Clear effervescent gold. Decent white head. Aroma: malts, candy, overripe and stale fruit, hints of vanilla and marzipan. Medium body. Soft to average carbonation. Taste: high amount of alcohol, heavy malts, metal, esters, marzipan. Medium sweet and bitter. The bitterness is unpleasant. The aroma promised much more. In fact you have a harsh and boozy head crasher.

Can from random store in Bruxelles. Clear yellow with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, fruity and corn. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet finish with warming alcohol. Sampling this one right after the Gordon Carbon, it is almost a decent beer. 130418

Pours fizzy clear golden, very short-lived white head. Aroma is mild: raw alcohol, wet bread, grass, a tinge of cucumber (yes). Powerful and alcoholic, it starts rather sweetish, then develops a sticky feeling that won’t leave. Rather low-lingering finish, with more wet bread sensations. It’s never as bad as the Titanium though -at least I could drink half this one (before throwing the other half away.)

Can at home . Smell is nothing at all . The can may just as well be filled with water here . Taste is super-boozy , metallic, harsh dryness (sugar plays a part in this , but is most definatly joined by other chemicals I dont even wanna know about . No real other aspects than metallic boozyness . Awefull- as to be expected from Gordon ... If I’d ever be homeless , I still would not drink this shit ... damn .

Can, 0.50l, shared with friends. Clear deep golden color with small frothy white head and average sparkling appearance. Aroma of caramel, cordial and alcohol. Tastes sweet caramelly with strong alcoholic mouthfeel and almost no bitterness. Medium body, sticky texture and soft carbonation in palate. Slightly more palatable than Titanium...

Bote se 50 cl de el c. Ingles. Lote s-103 hasta 14-10-2014. Tomada el 09-09-2014en el momento. Color dorado con espuma blanca. Aromas maltosos ligeramente afrutados.
