Our tribute to one of our favorite beer styles. Garden is a lightly-hopped and salted traditional style gose with just a hint of acid tartness and lemon peel and coriander. Goseanna!

Can to stange.
Appearance: hazy yellow color with three fingers worth of white foamy head which dissipated at a nice pace but left barely any lace
Aroma: sweet to tart scents of lemon, sour-ed wheat, coriander, and a light touch of acidity
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a fine sour to tart to semi-salty tone; finishes sour to tart with an even keeled saltiness
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable, light smoothness then the appropriate tart wheaty bite I wanted kicked while the salt punched a little bit too
Overall: now that my friends is what you call a true gose, pronounced "Go-suh" and a little bit of a light lemony tone to add a touch of modernization. I would return to this if this brewery was still open.

Big yellow pounder can for two-fitty. Nose is rather neutral. Wow from the first taste I found this so enjoyable and refreshing, from its clear pale yellow look to its sizzling tart effects on the palate. Big white head. As a tart beer enthusiast, t'was hoping for something good and I got it. Quite good, better than expected. Hard to find any negative effects in this and its even harder to taste any alky in it, heheh. I guess that's why they want to drink a pounder, hey, hey. Lovely fun and easy, tart is so nice in brews. This almost has a wild attribute about it. Gose? Not here, its lacking any salt that I can detect. Yummy overall beer experience. Not bad. Should have picked up a few of these pounders.

Super hazy golden coloured body with a thick, five to six centimetre tall pure white head that fades almost as quickly as soda with a large bubble and leaves almost nothing at all on the side of the glass. Aroma of tart lemons with a dash of limes and a bunch of coriander seed, wheat, light yeast, dry hay and a dose of bretty and lactobilly soured notes towards the end, but very light though. Light-bodied; Super fresh lemon and wheat flavours dominate at first with a dry hay and grassy finish showing the softer sweetness from caster sugar and fruity notes with the lemons and limes the strongest, but also showing a light tart funk and some bretty notes towards the end that capture the yeastie flavours. Overall, a very dry, very light beer, but still shows a lot of character, especially for sow low of an alcohol content. Nice to sample and well-recommended to find an easy-drinking, summer-ish beer that has a lot of character and complexity but not much alcohol or body/malts. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Dominion Beer and Wine in Falls Church [city of], Virginia on 31-January-2018 for US$3,79 sampled at home in Washington on 16-December-2019 as Beer #16 of my 2019 Advent Calendar for Christmas.

On tap at Arts and Crafts Amsterdam Ave. Pours hazy bright yellow. Lemon, perfume, floral, light savoury bread stuff, clean minerally finish. Spritzy body. An excellent example of a pretty classic gose.

On tap at Pour Taproom, pours a hazy blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out floral notes, with a big herbal character and lacto. Flavour is pretty neutral, with lightly tart citrus, herbal notes and lacto. Not a top tier gose by any means. Meh.

Tap at Nessalla. Super thick hazy yellow-white body. Not much of a head. Pleasant lemon aroma. Light bodied, really easy drinking. Hints of salt coriander. Pretty solid for the style.

Enjoyable with a really nice "right there" lactic tartness. The coriander really makes itself known here, and maybe it's too much, if I have any complaint, that is it. Hints of lemon, sourdough. Semi-dry at finish.
