Dark brown, opaque, small head. Nice Barley Wine aroma: malt, caramel, Parmigiano; with some bourbon. The malt base is very good, it's deep, sweet, with fudge, some Parmigiano, wood, vanilla; the alcohol is well hidden.
Crossover American/British Barley Wine, excellent.

1.5L magnum, pours an opaque dark mahogany with a small tan head. Aroma is extremely woody, with lots of bourbon barrels, lots of wood, alcohol, and caramel. Flavour is brutal, with lots of wood, alcohol, bourbon barrels and toasted caramel. Extremely intense and brutal. A little over the top.

Taster on Black Christmas #7. Magnum #13/50. Appearance: hazy copper with a tan head. Aroma: sweet, caramel, some barrel. Taste: along the same lines, a bit oxydized. Overall: pretty good.

Bottle pours out amber topped with a tan head. Nose is nice sweet bourbon barrel pit fruit. Tatste is nice bourbon barrel notes some booze and plenty toffee.

Magnum bottle "with elderflower". Pours a hazy copper with no head. The aroma is pure sugar, caramel, oak, floral. Medium body, brown sugar, oak, boozy, good.
