Keg at the Bottle Shop, in dem der Bermondsey arches, 10/05/14. Clear golden with a moderate off white covering that retains well. Nose is big on pine, bitter citric pel, toast, orange pith, bitter grapefruit. Taste comprises sticky mango, hint of booze, bitter grapefruit, bitter orange, pine resin, straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying cose with a good level of hop bitterness and a pine linger. Solid DIPA, great balance, easy drinking.

Draught at Copenhagen Beer Celebration, second session. Cloudy golden coloured body. Dotted spots from a medium sized white head. Fresh, inviting aroma of lemon and grapefruit. Well blended taste of succulent fruity hops. Solid dry bitter finish. Full bodied. Among my best tasters at the CBC (02.05.2014).

Bomber @ home, thanks to jcnielsen for sending my way. Pours a hazy orange appearance with a cream colored head that doesn’t have much retention. Grapefruit, mango, and orange fruit elements in the aroma. Some herbal hoppy notes as well. Moderate sweetness. A bit goopy mouth feel. Lots of fruity notes. Moderate or a bit higher bitterness. Sort of boozy. Somewhat disappointing.

Sampled @ CBC 2014. Clear orange to golden color, small off-white head. Smell and taste malts, hops, floral, nicely bitter, some pine and resin. Medium body and carbonation. Nice DIPA, but not outstanding. -- Re-rate: better this time than the first time I tried it. Way better.

Bottle, bottles 2/21/14 and consumed ~4/13/14. Pours hazy butterscotch with a small off white head that dissipates slowly with good lacing. Aroma is dank, passionfruit, wet leaves, citrus, pine. Flavor is light sweet, light plus bitter, dank and fruity, not harsh. Medium body, oily mouthfeel. Still very good!

From the April 2014 3R6P gathering. +++ Sampled from a 22 oz brown bottle this beer poured a hazy orange-apricot color with a medium sized foamy white head that left a bit of lacing. The aroma was sweet and tangy pine and pineapple. The flavor was bitter and tangy with a sour caramel presence, old musty hops and a bit of wood and cardboard. Medium length finish. Full body. Disappointing.

Bomber shared by ogbuthr at the WWGT2D? Charlottesville tasting, 4/5/14. Pours a slightly hazy amber color with a thin creamy white head. Decent head retention. Aroma of grapefruit, citrus, herbal notes, pale malt. The taste is candied citrus, citrus, herbal hops, honey, pale malt. Medium bodied, slight lingering bitterness. 7900th rating!
