330ml Bottle - Dark brown with red tinges and a foamy head. Brown sugar, raisins, plums and caramel in the aroma. Hazelnuts, caramel, toffee, raisins and some earthy notes feature in the taste.

330ml bottle, present from my Belgian father-in-law. Pours a deek dark brown with a respectable off-white head. Aroma is malty sweet. Taste is a little thin and ever so slightly syrupy with lacklustre malts and passable bitter roasted taste. Next.

Troebel donkerbruin bier met schuim. Smaak is verrassend kruidig, met citrus en licht bitter. Blijft lang hangen. Volgrens etiket is dit bier 8%

Dubbel named after the local dialect for hedgehog, with a thick, creamy head and malty profile, yeasty, dried fruits, sweetish with chocolatey touch, caramelly, gentle roasted bitter in the finish. Well-balanced.

Typical Belgian dubbel beer. Very malty and sweet, with some spices and dark fruits. Been there, done that.
