Villers Tripel is a golden colored beer with firm white foam. Massive and fruity aromas with notes of honey and banana. Slightly spicy too. At first very rich in flavor, with a good touch of alcohol. The taste is harmonious with a malty, fruity and strong bitterness. Complex beer with a strong character.

Bottle from Drinks Vanuxeem, Ploegsteert, Belgium. Pours a hazy golden colour with a medium sized throthy white head. Aromas of ripe pale fruits with some spice and herbal notes. Taste is more pale fruits, peppery spice and herbal tones with a dry and slightly sweet spicy finish. A little warming alcohol. Thinnish body with average carbonation. Ok Triple but no better than average for the style.

Blonde with the tiniest chunks of yeast floating in this beer. Light flowery, citric aroma. Just a bit alcoholic, but malty, a bit citric and just a bit of rest sweetness, that rounds the beer a bit. No specific aftertaste. A diluted and simplified version of Duvel, I’d say.

From old tasting notes. Slightly hazy, deep gold color that sports an immense creamy white head. Yeasty vinous aroma. Dry bitter hop foretaste. Some light malt in middle.mbitter hop finish. Very hoppy for a Belgian Trippel.
