In the 19th Century, two men dealt cards to decide who gained sole ownership of the land now known as Show Low, Arizona. Lowest card won. A deuce of clubs, the lowest in the deck, was flipped. "Show Low it is."
Barrel Aged Deuce of Clubs was aged in a barrel first filled with tawny port, followed by Superstition Meadery's world class raspberry mead, Framboesa Atando. This imperial stout imparts notes of chocolate covered raspberry, sweet honey complexity, and finishes with a slight creme brulee roast.

Bottle pours out black topped with a tan head. Nose is nice sweet berries roast malts fudge chocolate vanilla barrel and some of the mead sweetness from the barrel. Taste is as the nose with a nice sweet jammy berry barrel notes and roast malts.

Bottle thanks to Russell. Pours black with small beige head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is strong roast, dark chocolate, berries, wood. Medium body, jammy, boysenberry, roast, fudge, boozy finish, very good.
