Sample at Winking Lizard Crosswoods during the "Floyds! Floyds! Floyds! #2" event on 05/13/2017. Brown-black color with a medium thick frothy tan head that diminishes gradually to a film. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of cognac, chocolate malt and coffee. Full-bodied with flavors of sweet cognac, bittersweet chocolate and roast malt. The finish is slightly boozy and fruity with a cognac and malt aftertaste. Good beer all around.

On tap at Wakestock. Pours a dark brown with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is chocolate, cognac, roast, wood. Medium body, candy sugar, roast, dark chocolate, boozy finish, very good.
