Sample at What The Funk!? on 10/04/2017. Mahogany-amber color with a medium off-white head that diminishes steadily to an outer ring. Stringy lacing. Aroma of tart berry, oak, yeast and malt. Medium body with flavors of tart blackberry, vinous oak, yeast and doughy malt. The finish is oaky and tart with a berry aftertaste. Good beer all around.

Bottle thanks to Derek. Pours a dark amber with medium beige head that lasts. The aroma is strong berry, oak, funk, leather. Thin body, leather, oak, berry, licorice, nice tartness, very good.
