Tap at Beaver Brewing Company (1090), Vienna, Austria. Pours slightly amber gold, fairly transparent, with fine white foam. Aroma is kinda funky, toffee. Fellas like a dirty line, unfortunately, it's the second beer in a row.. Body and carbonation are average. Taste is moderately sweet, with a fairly dry final given by decent bitterness. Final is average.

On tap at Beaver Brewing Company. Light hazy golden colour with a big head. Aroma of grass, hay, malt and hops. Light malty and grainy with decent grassy hops. Medium body with medium carbonation, very refreshing and balanced.

At the brewpub, shared with, and thanx to, Wreckmeister . Pours clear blonde, small white head. Smell is bit sweet, mild bitter touch. Taste is dry, malty, corny. bit weak, even for the style.

Draught @ Beaver Brewing Co, Vienna, Austria. Pours golden with an offwhite head. Aroma of malt, grain, light yeast, grass, hay. Flavor is light sweet, malty, grain, little yeast, little bread, green grass, hay. Medium body, average to lively carbonation, light sweet finish. Nice and refreshing. 120816

Jan. ’16. On tap at the brewpub. It poured a hazy yellow body with a big head atop. Strong aroma of fine herbal and citrus hops but not in that aggressive "crafty" way, with all the same couple of hops used in every bloody style and marketed as "21st century ____(whatever)". Anyhow, light malt, honey and grainy in aroma too. Fine, lightly bitter flavor where typical herbal and lightly earthy hop blended nicely with some grainy and honey malt, like anticipated in aroma, with a touch of chalky yeast typical for the style. Full body with only a lightly bitter and chalky smooth finish. Congratulations, this is a very nice zwickl.

Auch so eine coole amerikanische Brauerei braucht ein Hausbier, das den Einheimischen schmeckt. Es handelt sich um ein Zwickel, das schöne grasig-hopfige Aromen mit solider mitteleuropäischer Süffigkeit vereint. Das einfachste Bier der Brauerei, aber sicher nicht fade.

From tap. Pours hazy orange with a small white hea. Aroma is mild herbal. Grassy and straw. Bitter, grassy, slight fruity. Grassy and straw, dry finish.
